We are a well-established and thriving village practice in the heart of Tarbert Village Co Kerry, located 30 mins from the nearest Co Kerry beach of Ballybunion. We are dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate healthcare to our local community. Our team of dedicated healthcare professionals is committed to delivering high-quality medical services, and we are currently seeking a Specialist IMC GP to join our team.
Position Overview
As a GP in our village practice, you will play a vital role in caring for our patients, addressing their medical needs, and promoting overall health and well-being; you have the opportunity to build strong patient-doctor relationships and be an integral part of our community. You will be instrumental in ensuring that our patients receive the highest standard of care while overseeing the day-to-day clinical operations of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Mentor the clinical team
- Diagnose and treat various medical conditions and illnesses
- Passionate about women’s health
- Provide routine check-ups, preventive care, and health education
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the practice
- Participate in continuing medical education and professional development
- Implement and oversee clinical protocols and best practices
Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification or eligibility for board certification in Family Medicine or General Practice
- Hold Registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC)
- Proven leadership and experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Compassion and dedication to patient care
- Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
